How is Wise-Traveler able to offer these low rates?

Our business approach is very different than a consumer travel site. Because we operate in a private, members-only wholesale environment with unpublished rates to consumers, our model allows us to pass along a large portion of the booking discounts we receive from our suppliers to our members so that they get the maximize savings benefit.

What makes Wise-Traveler different?

The most commonly known, and used, discount travel companies lead you to believe you are getting a great discount when they are actually marking up their rooms substantially. They also don’t show you would pay on their competitors site. It is not in their interest to save you as much money as possible. That’s what separates the Wise-Traveler booking engine from the rest. It is our goal to save you as much money as possible. We also show you the comparative pricing of the online booking engines “real time”, so you can see just how much you are saving. But Don’t All The Popular Booking Engines Provide The Best Rates?

While there are several online booking engines, the majority of them are all owned by just two companies. As these are public booking engines, they are subject to rate parity agreements with the hotels. While the price of the room can regularly change – which means the exact rate is flexible – it must always remain the same across all distribution channels. What if a hotel does not have the Comparable Prices Tab?

The Wise-Traveler booking engine is designed to search all of the major public sites to find what their nightly rate is. Unfortunately, these sites do not always provide a rate for compare against. When this happens we add a very small fee to the wholesale price we have from the Hotel and that is Your Price. We do encourage you to book Hotels where there is a comparable price listed in order to make sure you are getting the deepest discount possible.

How does the Comparable Prices Tab work?

The Comparable Prices Tab is designed to compare one room, with two guests, on our site to that of one room, with two guests, on all public sites that are available to compare with at the time you search for a hotel room.  The Comparable Prices Tab will not work if you are looking for more than one room on a single reservation

What hotels and resorts are available with Wise-Traveler.com?

You will find worldwide booking options that include familiar brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Wyndham, Choice, Ritz Carlton, plus many others.

Do I have to book online or can I speak to a live person?

If you would like to speak to a reservation specialist please contact customer service directly at (844) 965-4056. Is there a minimum stay required?

There is no minimum stay requiered and no blackout dates. You can book for one nigth if that’s the extent of your travels.

How long do I have to wait before my reservations are confirmed?

All of the inventory in our system is live and available for booking a reservation. Once your credit card is charged and approved, your reservation is confirmed instantly and you will receive an email confirmation. You can also find your reservation information in the “My Account” section of the site.

Why does the confirmation # not match the hotel confirmation number?

Sometimes our inventory is not directly from the hotel. Rest assured your name and reservation are within that particular hotels system. Please call the hotel directly and they will be able to confirm your reservation.

What if I want to change or cancel my reservation?

You may cancel or change your Prepaid Reservation unless otherwise stated in the specific terms associated with the inventory you agree to purchase. Some cancellations or room-night reductions may result in a $10 (USD) per room, per night service fee. In addition, if you cancel or change your reservation after the cancellation policy period applicable to the hotel and room type you reserved, you may be subject to a charge of one-night’s room rate, tax recovery charges and service fees or greater penalties based on the terms of your reservation. Refunds may or may not be made for no-shows or early checkouts. See the room rate cancellation policies and other terms and conditions for complete details. You agree to pay any cancellation or change fee that you incur. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions and cancellation policies imposed with respect to any completed reservation. How do I cancel a reservation?

At the bottom of our booking engine website there is a link titled “Cancel/Resend”.  Click on this link, enter your email address and confirmation number then click on the “Cancel Reservation” box.  a customer service representative will contact you within 24 hours to assist in your request to cancel a reservation.  Please remember that each reservation has its own cancellation policy so please refer to your confirmation for the specific cancellation policy.

Will I get great savings on Car Rentals and Airfare too?

With Wise-Traveler you will get great discounts on Car Rentals. The Airline industry is highly regulated therefore we cannot provide great savings as we do with hotels. We provide airline bookings as a convenience to our members.

I tried to sign-up but my email didn’t work or says ‘invalid user’?

This can happen if you have already set up an account and are using the same username or email. Try using a different username and email. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@wise-traveler.com. We will help resolve the issue quickly.
